Green hydrogen stands out because of a few special properties that make it a clean, powerful, and flexible fuel.

First, it produces zero emissions — when used, the only byproduct is water vapour. That means no carbon dioxide or other pollutants are released into the atmosphere. It’s also lightweight and high in energy, packing more power per kilogram than most other fuels. For example, hydrogen has nearly three times the energy density of compressed natural gas.

Because it burns so efficiently, green hydrogen can power everything from cars and trucks to factories and power plants. But its strength also means it needs to be handled carefully — hydrogen is highly flammable.

Even with the challenges, its potential is enormous. From storing renewable energy to decarbonising heavy industries, green hydrogen offers a way to meet growing energy needs without harming the planet.

Simply put, it’s one of the cleanest and most adaptable fuels towards Energy transition  — and it could help redefine how we power our world.
